A shift here

Three of us work each shift. The cashier takes the orders and runs the food out, the cook works the grill, and the prep and dish person keeps the kitchen stocked and the dishes clean. Spanish is spoken in the kitchen and at the counter.

• Cashier and Food Runner

  Take orders at the counter and on the phone, run the register and bring the food to the tables. English and Spanish required.

  Cook tacos, burritos and plates to our recipes on the grill, flat-top and fryer.

  Prep for the cook, make the salsas, rice and beans, and keep the dishes and kitchen clean.

What we offer

• $18.31 an hour, plus tips. Tips are shared with the kitchen.
• Free shift meal
• Pick your shifts: morning or evening, 3 to 4 a week
• Part-time to start. Full-time is possible if you can commit to steady shifts.
• Paid training on the job. No experience needed for cashier or kitchen prep and dish.
• Paid sick leave (California law)
• We pay for your California Food Handler Card. You need it within 30 days of starting.
