This policy explains what information Taqueria Los Potrillos collects through taquerialospotrillos.com and through messages you send us on Google, how we use it, and the choices you have. We're a family restaurant at 355 E Washington St in Petaluma, California.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us, plus basic information about how the site is used:
- Catering inquiries: your name, phone, email, event date and location, number of guests, the service you want and your message.
- Tamale orders: your name, phone, email, the holiday, your pickup date and any notes.
- Job applications: your name, phone, email, the job and shifts you want, the days you can work, whether you're 18 or older, and any experience you share.
- Messages: if you message us through our Google Business Profile on Google Search or Maps, we receive what you write. Some replies may come from an automated assistant that Google provides on our profile.
- Site usage: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, your device and browser type, your general location (city level), how you found the site, and clicks on buttons like Order Now or Call. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address.
We don't take card payments on this site. Tamale deposits are sent through Venmo or Zelle, and those services handle your payment information under their own policies.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, confirm and prepare your order, plan your catering, review job applications and contact applicants, answer your messages, and understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few outside services to run the site. They only get what they need to do that job:
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our email.
- Google provides Analytics, our Business Profile and its messaging, and the Google reviews shown on our site.
- Yelp provides the Yelp reviews shown on our site. Those reviews load from Yelp, which may set its own cookies.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- DoorDash and Uber Eats: if you click through to order, their own privacy policies apply.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and your choices
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Our site doesn't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep it
We keep order and catering messages as long as we need them to serve you and for normal business records. We keep job applications as long as California law requires employers to keep them.
Seeing, fixing or deleting your information

Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
