Taqueria Los Potrillos is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

Our Commitment

This website partially conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act. "Partially conforms" means some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard. We evaluate our conformance using the W3C's Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM) and are actively working to close the gaps listed below.

What We've Done

• Added a “Skip to main content” link on every page, including the menu and guide pages
• Added semantic landmarks (main, nav) across the site, including the menu and guide pages
• Made our photo gallery and lightbox fully keyboard and screen reader accessible
• Added ARIA labels and roles to the ordering modal, including a focus trap and keyboard-accessible close
• Added descriptive alternative text to menu, gallery, and catering images
• Added dietary labels (Vegetarian, Gluten-Friendly) to menu items

Known Issues

As of our September 2026 review, we know of the following gaps and are actively working through them: insufficient color contrast on some footer links and secondary (muted) text; the mobile navigation menu is not reliably reachable at narrow viewport widths; and the homepage photo gallery auto-advances without a visible pause control. We track each of these to resolution and will update this statement as fixes ship. Some third-party content embedded on our site (such as the Facebook timeline widget and Google Maps) may also not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA; we have no direct control over these third-party services but have taken steps to label them appropriately.
